Since it first rolled out the welcome mat about two years ago, Deutsche Telekom has opened its doors to the expanding ecosystem and opportunity surrounding smart homes.
The German service provider continues to extend its environment of appliances, apps and device partners that leverage its platform to create a cozy, interactive household for today's consumers. The operator teams up with other service providers to accelerate their deployment of smart-home solutions and services.
Operator KPN, for example, used DT's smart home platform QIVICON to launch its KPN SmartLife service for security, energy and comfort controls.
