Swish Fibre goes live with Netadmin to support initial FTTH targetBroadband World News, , 3/8/2021
LINKӦPING, Sweden – Netadmin, a key provider of software purposely built for fibre operators starting, transiting to or operating a fibre business, has today announced that Swish Fibre has selected Netadmin to help them automate the order and provisioning processes. Swish Fibre, a full-fibre broadband provider are bringing their services to 250,000 homes across the Homes Counties. Swish were looking for a comprehensive OSS/BSS solution which would enable them to hit the ground running (out of the box functionality), whilst allowing a number of important integrations with other key systems to enable their 'zero-touch' customer onboarding and provisioning goal. Additional functionality required was an 'on-prem' deployment model, a seamless expansion to deliver wholesale services and GDPR compliance. After a comprehensive RFP process in late 2019, Netadmin was chosen as the OSS/BSS supplier. The engagement model included a number of developments to facilitate integrations into network element and billing systems. The initial minimal viable product was delivered on time and has enabled Swish to deliver a streamlined order journey and service provisioning solution. The level of automation is a key enabler to allow Swish to scale in line with their build-out plans. A number of enhancements to the MVP solution are already underway / completed and include broader integrations into Swish's CRM tool, special offers and voice service integrations. Fredrik Holmberg, VP Professional Services of Netadmin, said: "Swish Fibre came to us with clear processes that we used in combination with our know-how in the fibre operator business when implementing Netadmin. We are excited to be a part of and help Swish on the growth of their full-fibre network." Chris Cope, CTO of Swish Fibre, said: "The selection of Netadmin was pretty straight-forward in that it enabled us to leverage the many existing functions that are out of the box whilst also being able to adapt the solution to meet our specific needs for zero-touch provisioning through a number of add-on integrations with network element manager, device managers, IPAMs and billing systems. These were all done as a professional services scope by Netadmin against strict process flows provided by Swish. The solution has enabled us to start as we mean to go on with high levels of automation to provide a consistent and scalable customer journey, service provisioning and billing function." |
